JUST IN: Ghana’s Coronavirus Case Counts Jump To 6,617 – Check Regional Breakdown

Ghana has recorded some 66 extra coronavirus cases which brings the tally to 6,683 from the previous 6,617.

With 20 more people healed, the number of recoveries now stands at 1,998. One more life has been lost bringing the death count to 32.

The Savannah region has recorded its first cases since the start of the virus entered the country.

Thus, the number of affected regions has increased to 14. Currently, Ahafo and Bono East regions have no Coronavirus case.

The new numbers were announced by the Ministry of Health on all it’s social media pages and on the Covid-19 updates dedicated website.

Regional breakdown of the 6,683 cases:

Greater Accra Region – 4,798

Ashanti Region – 1,049

Central Region – 299

Western Region – 210

Eastern Region – 106

Western North Region – 61

Volta Region – 47

Northern Region – 36

Oti Region – 26

Upper East Region – 26

Upper West Region – 21

North East Region – 2

Savannah Region – 1

Bono Region – 1

Ahafo Region – 0

Bono East Region – 0
