As the number of coronavirus cases in the country surges, the only option that was deemed appropriate was to ensure a ban on social gathering. 

With this, the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo declared a ban on all social gatherings in his first address on coronavirus.

Churches have since then been close and recent interviews indicate that pastors are wished the wish for this ban to be lifted.

Renowned cleric, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry has suggested that the government should relax the ban of religious gathering instituted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In an exclusive interview on Metro TV, Duncan Williams there is something rather special about the gathering of two or more people in prayer; which can eventually cause some major changes in Ghana’s coronavirus numbers.
