Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is broke and is now rebuilding his empire, according to his current manager Okyeame.
According to him, Lilwin was the victim of fraud and emblezzement under the management of his former manager, Busumuru Sean Kingston.
“Busumuru didn’t do things well. He managed Lilwin based on friendship so most of the time he didn’t charge people who wanted to use Lilwin for shows and that is the reason why Lilwin’s finances has come down,” Okyeame told Ogidi Brown in an interview.
“Busumuru was taking a smaller amount of money from event organizers for himself and be persuading Lilwin to go and play such shows…”
Busumuru is now out of Lilwin’s employ and Okyeame claims he’s working to get things back to normal.
Busumuru, who was also running Lilwin’s school Great Minds, was also sacked from that position for embezzlement.
It’s no wonder that Lilwin recently begged Nhyiraba Kojo for money to help run his school after the two had a public spat. It appears the well is getting dry in the empire of Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
