Gospel musician Uncle Ato has defended Pastors who asked their members to send their offerings and tithes via Mobile Money (MoMo) amid coronavirus

Remember some Ghanaian Pastors including Duncan Williams introduced MoMo and other means to collect offerings and tithes after a ban was placed on public gatherings as a measure to avert the spread of the virus.

But speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Uncle Ato said there is nothing wrong with the actions of these Pastors. He explained that Christians giving to God is an opportunity for Him to bless them.

The “Mensuro” crooner admitted we are in difficult times, however, that should not prevent Christians from supporting the work of God provided they need blessings from God.
