A young man named Suel Ambrose is said to have died when his school staged a play about Jesus Christ in honor of Easter.
The person who died is said to be a seminarian at the Claretian University of Nigeria, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State. People say that the man, who was 25 years old and came from Benin State, died while he was playing Peter in the play.
Cable News talked to one of the students, Mavis, who said the young man died in the middle of the fight.
That’s how it worked: “Peter cut a soldier’s ears and Jesus fixed them. Then Jesus asked Peter to let them do their thing.” You know how excited the play is.
That’s why, as soon as the soldiers tried to drive away the disciples from Jesus, the young man fell to the ground and started to cry out.
We took him to our school’s hospital, and the doctors did their best, but he didn’t seem to be getting better. When we took him to the Federal Medical Center in Owerri, Nigeria, the doctor said that he had died.
