John Dramani Mahama has posited that almost all development projects that have taken place in the Upper West Region happened under NDC administration.
He said this while addressing the chiefs and people at the Wa Naa Palace as part of his campaign tour to the Upper West Region.
According to Mahama, “the Upper West Region was established by the founder of our party, Jerry John Rawlings and since its founding, almost every development project that has taken place in the Upper West Region has taken place under an NDC administration.”
“And, so”, he furthered, “the Upper West Region can be rest assured that anytime the NDC is in power, it will get access to its fair share of the national cake”.
As a reminder, John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012, and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.
