Reliable information reaching The BBC Ghana is that Kofi Amoako also known as DJ Vyrusky has parted ways with Accra based Starr FM owned by EIB Network.

Sources told us that, he tendered in his resignation yesterday, Thursday, May 7, 2020. The reigning 3MUSIC Award DJ of the year started from University of Ghana campus as a drink-up DJ.

He was the resident DJ at University of Ghana’s student’s hangout joint, TymeOut where he doubled as the in-house DJ for all EchoHouse and Lynx Entertainment events.

Between 2010 and 2011 as a final year student at the University of Ghana Business School, he started playing outside the campus and perfected his art through competitions with other campus DJs and friends.

In 2013, DJ Vyrusky started making waves outside the campus and was the resident DJ at Club 45 now Gold Coast Restaurant before joining Starr Fm, a subsidiary of EIB in 2015. Vyrusky later became the official DJ for MzVee and travelled with her across the country.
