Constable Emmanuel Osei and Joyce Efia Amankwa, the story of how the latter lost her life to the bullet of the indiscriminate shelling robbers emerged with different narrations.

Some reports described the 40-year-old woman as a hawker who was shot after attempting to raise an alarm when the robbers struck while others described the mother of three as a pregnant woman who died in the melee of the attack.

Following the release of the body to the family, a one-week observation has been held the honour of the late Madam Joyce Efia Amankwa.

Family, friends and sympathizers who were present at the grounds could not hold back their tears.

More importantly, the family has decided to perform the final funeral rites for Joyce on 24th July 2021. They also charged the authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.
