Sariki Hamarin Aboabo has accused politicians of being the brains behind the numerous violence that occur in Zongo communities.
According to him, politicians give Zongo youth money to indulge in skirmishes for their political gains.
Speaking with Oyerepa TV/FM on Wednesday, May 4 2022, Sariki Hamarin Aboabo indicated that, politicians want only want Zongo Youth for violence and that’s why they are not creating jobs for them.
“Politicians have intentionally decided not to create jobs for the Zongo youth due to the fact that they want to use them to cause violence for their political interest”.
He alleged that politicians give money to the youth for them to indulge in criminal acts sake of their political power.
“They (Politicians) have failed to create jobs, educate our youth in order to use the opportunity to influence them with money to fight for them. The truth is that if you don’t feed someone for days and you give him money for a mission, he will take the money and embark on the task”. He said.
“Politicians wait till election time, they come in the various Zongos, give the youth some money and T-shirts to involve in needless acts”.
