Prime Minister of Russia, Mikhail Mishustin test positive for coronavirus

Russian prime minister, Mikhail Mishustin has tested positive for the coronavirus.

He told the Russian president, Vladimir Putin in a video call and is expected to go into isolation.

His deputy Andrey Belousov will be acting in his stead. Mikhail Mishustin is thus the highest-ranking official to contract the disease as Russia crossed the 100,000 tallies with a little over a 1,000 deaths.

Mikhail Mishustin, an economist was appointed to his current post in January after a major overhaul of the Russian ruling elite.
