The Rawlings’ have given their blessing for the University of Development Studies (UDS) after late ex. President Jerry John Rawlings.
This is according to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye.
He revealed that the family has never been against that decision after he led a delegation to from UDS to mourn with the family at Mr. Rawlings’ residence at Ridge in Accra.
“We have quickly checked with her excellency[Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings], and I have her authority to inform you that the family has never been against this forward-looking suggestion and we would have absolutely no objection if your university can achieve that,” a member of the family and former diplomat, Mr Victor Gbeho, said on Monday.
