An alleged member of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale identified as Kumordzie has been named by some residents of Nima and Maamobi as one of the people behind the clash yesterday.
According to a reporter from Media-General who was at the location to get first-hand information about the issue, the fight was between two camps thus Nima and Maamobi.
Speaking with Captain Smart on Onua Maakye, he narrated that the whole fight broke out after an alleged Sakawa boy was beaten at home by the thugs from Nima headed by their leader one Bumbum for disrespecting them.
The Sakawa boy who was furious over the action of Bum bum and his gang reported the issue to Kumordzie who also didn’t wait to listen to the other side of the story but went ahead to organize his boys.
The reporter continued that both Kumordzie and Bum Bum mounted barriers on the main street waiting for people from each other’s camps to cross but since no one crossed they stayed low until a gunshot from one of the camps.
It continued that the bullet from the gun hit one man from the other camp who was closing his shop fearing for his life after seeing what was happening.
