The President of Ghana has directed the Auditor-General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo to take his accumulated annual leave.
In a press statement signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communication at the Presidency, they cited precedence in 2009 when President Atta Mills directed the former Auditor-General Edward Dua Agyemang to take his accumulated 264 days to leave on April 9 2009.
According to the press release, Daniel Yaw Domelevo has an accumulated leave 123 days as he has only taken 9 days off since his appointment on 30th December 2016.
Daniel Yaw Domelevo is expected to hand all matters relating to his office to his deputy, Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Aseidu.
