The Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, alias Abronye DC has said the death of Former President, John Evans Atta Mills, was a blessing in disguise for John Dramani Mahama.

The firebrand for the NPP revealed this on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma today May 28th, 2020. Mr Abronye noted that Mr Mahama admitted that the death of Atta Mills paved way for him to become President.
“Mahama said he woke up in the morning as a Vice President but he was President in the evening which means it was a blessing for him”, Abronye said.
In other news, John Mahama has asked the police to investigate Abronye DC over the assassination of the NPP bigwigs but told the same police that they should disregard the allegation that he killed Prof. Mills because according to him, it was coming from an ‘unhinged mind’ in the person of Abronye DC.

However, Abronye DC has insisted that John Mahama cannot pick and choose what the police should investigate and has said he would also push for the investigators to probe all the things he supposedly said, including the death of Prof. Atta Mills.
