Chelsea’s newly signed striker, Timo Werner who is one of the most feared strikers in Europe renowned for his movement, pace, link-up play and finishing made his first pre-match interview for the club.
Timo Werner has been an established German international since 2017 when his three goals and two assists earned him the Golden Boot at that year’s Confederations Cup.
Werner has emerged as a first-choice pick for Germany since making his international debut against England in March 2017. He led the line in Russia at both the Confederations Cup and the World Cup. In all Werner has played 29 times for Germany and scored 11 goals.
Werner was also an outstanding and prolific goal scorer at youth international level for Germany, where he scored 34 goals in 48 appearances across the various age-group levels
He has been a Bundesliga regular for almost seven years and in November became the youngest in the competition making. Timo Werner in an interview said,
“I’m very happy that the league starts in two weeks and I’m excited to test myself in the Premier League. I also can’t wait for the friendly game against Brighton, to finally get out there wearing the Blue shirt.”
