Vice President Bawumia has gone to the aide of an 80-year-old woman who begged the public to support her as she had been left abandoned and destitute because of the leprosy condition she found herself in.

Dari Poga caught the attention of the Vice President after her condition was broadcasted in a documentary titled “withered skins” .

Within few hours after the broadcast, VP Bawumia had gone to the old woman’s aide donating some provisions to the poor woman and her children.

As if that was not enough, reports reaching us indicate that, the second gentleman of the land has sent a delegation to build a-two-bedroom home for madam Dari Poga in Gurungu in the Upper West Region where she hailed from.

We understand monies have already been released by the contractor to start the business.

Mr. Hafiz Bin Salih, the Upper West Regional Minister also added a cash of GH₵2000 as she made the donations on behalf of the Vice President.
