Chelsea secured the signature of the England national team defender Benjamin James Chiwell (Ben Chiwell) after the player agreed to join the London side.
The 23-year-old Left-back signed a contract with Leicester City on 20th October 2018 tying him until 2024, after making his debut for the English senior team 11th September 2018. Ben has made 11 appearances for the 3 lions since his debut.
Following his outstanding performance in the just-ended campaign, where Chiwell made 27 premier league appearances scoring 3 goals with 3 assists with Leicester City FC attracted the interest of Frank Lampard who seek to strengthen his Chelsea team with young talented players.
Ben Chiwell was announced by Chelsea after both clubs agreed on a £50m transfer fee and player penned down a 5-year contract with the blues.
