News coming in from state media has revealed that the cabinet has approved January as the reopening date for schools all over the country Ghana.
According to reports by the Graphic newspaper the president, Nana Akufo-Addo met with the Cabinet on December 30 where they concluded on this month been the reopening date for schools.
“The exact resumption date is unclear yet but the sources say it could be any date from 12th to 19th January and will mark a return from the long, Covid-19 inspired schools closure by government,” Graphic.com.gh reported
Schools were closed on March 15, 2020, as part of the government’s measures to curtail the spread of the COVID-19.
