The atmosphere in the Ghanaian media space is not something to reminisce and laugh at considering how radio personalities who are loud behind the console are bleeding behind the scenes in reference to the finances.

Based on ground checks, radio and televising owners are finding it difficult to foot the bills or salaries of their workers (presenters) in recent times perhaps largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other remote factors.
Taking The Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network as a case study, the media outfit over the past years lost some of its core members and big brains due to this unpaid salaries’ saga. The likes of Berla Mundi, Giovanni Caleb, Anita Akuffo, Kemini Amanor, KOD, Jon Germain, Et Al. have defected from the camp of EIB over unpaid salaries issue.

Reacting to this media crisis that Mawuli Ekpe Peter well-known as Abro who happens to be the PRO for Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has posited that he prays Austin Woode doesn’t leave Kumasi-based Abusua Fm perhaps following EIB’s financial crisis else doom awaits the media outfit.
To the best knowledge and experience of Abro, Austin Woode, as it stands, is the pillar or livewire for the radio station, therefore, leaving the station will cause a lot of havoc for Abusua Fm fraternity.
