Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo’s promise that came to many Ghanaians and more importantly the unemployed Ghanaian community as good news in the heat of the 2016 General Elections was the institutionalizing of a Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) by the party if they win.
Glory met them and God saw faith in the eyes of the NPP candidate. Thus, Nana Addo Dakwah Akufo Addo became the president-elect after December 7, 2016, general elections in the country.
The National Builders Corps (NABCO) was then institutionalized in May 2018. Consequently, it employed over 100,000 experienced and inexperienced staff into the corps.
Senior Communications Officer of the ruling NPP last night in an exclusive interview on Kumasi-based Wontumi FM with Ibarhd shared the good news that the government is making plans to again employ an additional 100,000 Ghanaians as the first batch of personnel their tenure in the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme.
“NABCO’s key deliverables and key performance indicators declaration of post-NABCO roles available and retention plans – 6 months prior to the end of the program. The first batch of personnel will end their terns soon as the programme is a three-year programme, and we are with the hope of employing another batch of 100,000 new applicants” – Ofori Yaw Mensah said.
