A picture has surfaced on social media and sighted by TheBBCghana.Com with the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo seated happily and beaming with smiles with his family including the first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
The President was seen sitting about a meter away from the first lady and his two children, Edwina Akufo-Addo and Funmi Akufo-Addo.
Edwina took the selfie, whilst the President and Mrs Akufo-Addo were full of smiles. This to a large extent brings to an end that President Akufo-Addo has been flown out of the country to London for covid-19 treatment.
President Akufo-Addo is presently at the Presidential Villa at the Jubilee House, according to the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, cooling off after he came into contact with some government officials at his office who have tested positive of coronavirus.
He is in isolation for 14 days.
