The highly famed French actor Gaspard Ulliel has passed away. The actor died on Wednesday 19 January, 2022. Gaspard Ulliel is set to appear in Marvel’s forthcoming TV series Moon Knight but his life ended suddenly at age 37. The sad news of his demise is a big blow to the French populace as one of their hardworking and versatile actors is no more.
What is the cause of Gaspard Ulliel’s death?
Gaspard Ulliel was skiing in the Savoie region on Tuesday when he crashed with another individual. The impact of the collision with the other person made him suffer severe brain trauma. Gaspard Ulliel was immediately airlifted to a hospital in Grenoble to receive urgent treatment. But unfortunately, he passed away the following day.
The other skier was not hospitalised and an investigation is now underway. Reacting to the news of Gaspard’s untimely death, French finance minister Bruno Lee Maire tweeted
“French cinema is losing a huge talent, full of charm and energy.”
His death came shortly after the trailer for Moon Knight was released on the internet. People have since the news, sent their condolences to the bereaved family while paying tribute to the iconic French actor.
