Ghana Is Hard Under Akufo Addo; I Regret Voting For NPP – Matilda Asare Cries
Matilda Asare, a Kumawood actor, has disclosed in a Facebook post that she regrets voting for the New Patriotic Party.
In the run-up to the 2016 elections, the actress, along with other celebrities, campaigned heavily for the NPP, led by President Nana Akuffo Addo and his vice president, Dr. Bawumia.
Their campaign aided the NPP’s election victory in 2016 and helped them keep power after the 2020 elections.
However, things are not going as planned, forcing some of them to speak out against some of the government’s actions in the country.
On social media, there was a message about the current government.
One of the persons who responded on the post happened to be the Kumawood actress.
“I regret voting for the NPP,” she writes in her post.
