Government Distributes Over 200,000 Past Questions Booklet To JHS Students

The Ministry of Education (MoE) together with the Ghana Education Service (GES) has procured sets of pass questions and answer booklets from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) numbering over 200,000 to Junior High School Candidates who are in the public schools across the country.

The Junior High School (JHS) final year students who now stand as candidates to the forthcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) been conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) were made to resume studies despite the closure of schools amidst the threats of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Ministry of Education which is headed by the Manhyia Constituency MPHonourable Matthew Opoku Prempeh together with the Ghana Education Service Directorates has done the remarkable as it is worthy of praises and attention to present questions and answer books to the final year JHS students as they did to those in the Senior High Schools.

Some districts in the Ashanti Region like the Afigya Kwabre North, Kwabre East, Afigya Kwabre North notably among others have all started the disbursement of the booklets to the students in the said districts to help them prepare well for their forthcoming final examination that serves as a bridge to their Senior High School Education.

The news was later confirmed by the Old Tafo Constituency Member of Parliament aspirant in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who also doubles as the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Vincent Ekow Assafuah in a press encounter made it known that this attempt by the Nana Akufo Addo led government is a step in the right direction as the government sees more than a Free Senior High education.
