President Akufo Addo has insisted that he intends to leave a legacy as a truthful president.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio and TV on August 1, 2020, Akufo Addo explained that Ghanaians have lost faith in politicians because they have the perception that they just come and promise and go.
However, he intends to change that perception as president and is, therefore, working hard to fulfill all promises made to Ghanaians.
“I’m truthful and someone you can trust because I have fulfilled promises not all but most of the promises I made while in opposition. I want to be remembered as a truthful person,” the President said.
He added, “people make promises but don’t fulfill them. Some even get angry when you remind them that they promised this or that but for us, we stick to our promise and that is what we want to be remembered for.”
President Akufo Addo is currently in the Ashanti region as part of a regional working tour.
