Ghana coach Otto Addo has said that beating South Korea in their second group game would be challenging.
On Thursday, the Black Stars kicked up their 2022 World Cup campaign against Portugal at the 974 Stadium.
The four-time African champions were defeated 3-2 by the European side.
Ghana will look to win their second group game against South Korea on Monday at the Education City Stadium, which kicks off at 13:00GMT.
Before the game against the Asian team, Addo said that they must win against the Koreans in order to advance to the next round of the competition.
Quizzed if Ghana can make it to the next round of the competition after the Portugal game, the 49-year-old said, “First of all, surely, we have a chance especially because they played a draw so if we win against South Korea and Portugal win hopefully against Uruguay then we will be second so the chance is still big.
“And surely it will be very, very tough to beat South Korea because they are good. But now we have to win.
“We are under pressure but they are too,” he added.
The result moves Portugal to the top of the group, but with South Korea and Uruguay drawing 0-0 earlier in the day, the Black Stars’ setback today may not be too expensive.
Ghana will conclude their group stage campaign with a highly anticipated match against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
