Reports reaching The BBC Ghana indicates that students of Accra Girls Senior High School are embarking on a demonstration in the school against school authorities demanding to go home.
Live Feed from Accra FM suggests that the students have been panicked after reports of COVID-19 cases on campus. Some of the students said they had been seeing ambulances move to and fro in the school to pick up these suspected COVID-19 cases.
According to them, authorities have failed to brief students on the situation despite the going in and coming out of ambulances on campus. This has put great fear in them and eventually sparked this protest.
The students could be heard screaming we’ll go home, we’ll go home!!!. The only Covid-19 protocol they’re observing while protesting is the wearing of face masks according to reports.
