Mzbel Warns President Akufo Addo Over 'Papa No Boruhaha'

Cantankerous Songstress, Mzbel has disclosed that her association with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) affected her music career.

Narrating how her public declaration of support for the NDC has affected her, the “16 Years” hitmaker revealed that patrons and followers of her craft have drastically reduced.

She further added that people she currently associates with for business purposes do not want to make their partnership public for fear of victimization.

However, she noted that her failures in the music career due to her association with the NDC has not in any way diminished her support for the party.

She said campaigning for Mahama and the NDC has adversely affected her career. Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Mzbel posited that;

“Before the removal of NDC from power, I used to play a lot of cooperative organisational gigs. There were some banks, hotels, etc, I used to play gigs for them on a yearly basis. Sadly, after the change of government, those in the various positions who used to give me the deals have all been removed and some transferred to different places. This has really affected my music career,” she said.

She revealed that John Mahama is like a father to her hence she will continue to support him and the NDC despite the devastating effect her association with the party has had on her music career.

As a reminder, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, is a Ghanaian Hiplife artist and one of the most popular singers in Accra, Ghana.

She is known for her controversial traits, Mzbel has always played controversial music and followed it up with controversial comments that are sure to get her fans talking.
