The Indian comics artist, writer, and illustrator Narayan are dead and family and friends are finding it difficult to process the news. The family and friends have lamented their feeling on social media. He was born on 25 November 2022 in Howrah, Bengal Presidency, British India, and died on 18 January 2022 aged 96
Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He died from a heart condition. Narayan created the popular Bengali comic strips of Handa Bhonda, Bantul the Great, and Nonte Phonte. 

Debnath holds a record in the fastest comics by individual artists that have continued to run for 53 years. Debnath was the first and only Comics-Artist in India who has received a D. Litt. degree. Debnath achieved a lot in his career as a writer and illustrator.

Narayan was full of life and did excellent jobs internationally. He died from a heart-related condition according to reports. Our deepest condolence to the family of Debnath.
