The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah has warned vigilante groups and Macho men who always cause commotion and confusion during electoral proceed.
He disclosed that any Macho man or vigilante group that will spark unnecessary chaos at the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries will face the wrath of the law.
According to the Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Security Committee, he indicated that there are Police service that will provide security with support from other security agencies like the Army, Fire Service, Prisons, Immigration, and customs.
“We don’t need any vigilante group from anywhere so if you are a Macho man or who you are we don’t need you” he revealed.
He, therefore, warned that nobody should bring pistol or gun there else if the police bust you then the law will be used to deal with the culprit.
“Do not bring motorbike around the polling station too, we don’t want any confusion” he added.
