The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has proven beyond all reasonable doubts that they have the Ghanaian teacher at heart.
Mr Osei Asabi who happens to be the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Kwabre District Circuit of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has expressed his joy on Kumasi-based Wontumi FM.
Speaking on Wontumi FM, Mr Asabi expressed that he takes great delight as he expresses on how this new allowance called the Professional Teachers Allowance (PTA) will help teachers as Christmas celebration approaches.
He further went on to say that Professional Teachers Allowance is first of its kind and he gives credit to Honourable Matthew Opoku Prempeh who remains the Minister of Education.
Speaking with a sense of jubilance in his voice, Mr Asabi expressed the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT appreciation to His Excellency President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo for his nice gesture.
