Okada riders in Twifo-Praso in the Central Region have called on the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to consider a reduction in their licensing fees should they win the December 2020 polls.
The riders made this plea when Vice Presidential candidate of the NDC, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang went on a campaign tour in the area.
According to the group leader, Mr Kwao Kumi, the current government have increased the okada licensing fees from GHC150 to GHC700, a situation that has been burdensome on riders.
