Francisca Gawugah who is popularly known in the showbiz circle as Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz has engaged in a brawl at the premise of Media General’s TV3 studios in Kanda, Accra.
Johnny Hughes, a presenter on the TV3 morning show told the BBC Ghana that, Sista Afia complained that Freda Rhymes had insulted her mother which pissed her off.
The loudmouth presenter also stated that Sista Afia said Freda should not have mentioned her mother in the beef because the mother knows nothing about the rationale behind the beef which is only an industrial hype. Now, meeting Freda one on one, Sista Afia, as she already warned in one of her songs, said she would beat Freda wherever she meets her, and this is what she wanted to do at the TV3 premises.
The lyrical beef as gathered by TheBBCghana.Com also turned into a physical fight when they nearly exchanged blows at the premises of Media General this morning.
This has ignited talks on social media with people either explaining the reason for Sista Afia’s anger or why she was wrong.
Sista Afia who feels offended is said to have reported the case brawl to the Nima Police Division with the report that, Freda Rhymz, a colleague sister in the music industry has vowed to kill her during the brawl at TV3 premises this morning.
DSP Seth Dadzie who spoke the BBC Ghana confirmed this report as he further added that, they have received a call from the camp of the duo as they intend to sit on the matter first before they proceed to an arrest if possible.
