Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC) students will soon host Ghanaian dancehall superstar Stonebwoy on the grounds of their school for a priceless musical experience.
In a now-viral dancing video to Stonebwoy’s smash song “Apotheke,” the training centre pupils wowed their way into the hearts of internet users and Stonebwoy himself.
They tweeted, “This is for @stonebwoy. #apotheke got us again,” along with the video. We are the renowned Players from the ATCC.
The dancehall musician, who is currently on tour, has promised the pupils a free music concert once he arrives in Accra in gratitude for their enthusiastic performance.
“Once I touch down FREE SHOW FOR THIS SCHOOL… Someone remind Me,” Stonebwoy announced.
Stonebwoy also urged the students to reach out to them directly to coordinate the event.
This free performance for Accra Technical Training Centre students is not only a chance for them to enjoy the music of the well-known music powerhouse and youth champion, but it also serves as a demonstration of the effectiveness of social media in fostering relationships between artists and their followers.
The fact is that Stonebwoy’s act encourages other musicians to engage with their audiences and give back to their communities by using their craft.
