The Taste Of Afrika Presents Cultural Oneness Festival Project to Paramount Chief of Tepa

Tengol K Kplemani, Co-founder of The Taste Of Afrika, recently met with the Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, to present the Cultural Oneness Festival project. The meeting aimed to seek the Paramount Chief’s endorsement and blessings for the project, which will be presented to Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene.

The Cultural Oneness Festival is an initiative by The Taste Of Afrika, a Ghanaian cultural organization, to promote unity and celebrate the diversity of African cultures. The festival will bring together the diverse cultures within our Kingdoms and communities to celebrate and strengthen the social relationships among us as one people via arts, music, fashion, cultural tourism, youth empowerment programs, etc.

Tengol K Kplemani, accompanied by his team, presented the Cultural Oneness Festival project to Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I at his palace in Tepa on Friday, August 23, 2024. The Paramount Chief expressed his support for the initiative, acknowledging the importance of promoting African cultural unity among the traditional rulers and their Kingdoms.

“I am pleased to see organization like The Taste Of Afrika through its Cultural Oneness Festival initiative taking steps to promote our cultural heritage and foster unity among us as traditional rulers,” said Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I. “I endorse this project and offer my blessings for its success.”

Tengol K Kplemani expressed his gratitude to the Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area for his support, stating, “We are honored to have your endorsement and blessings. The Cultural Oneness Festival project will not only promote cultural unity but also contribute to the strengthening of our social relationships and the development of our communities.”

The next step for The Taste Of Afrika is to present the project via Tepamanhene Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, to Otumfour Osei Tutu II, seeking his endorsement and blessings as the Asantehene. With the support of The Royal Majesty, the Cultural Oneness Festival is poised to become a significant event in Ghana, Africa and her Diaspora, and the world’s cultural calendar.
