When Robbo Ranx asked him about how hard Blakk Rasta was pounding Ghana’s radio with hard-hitting Reggae and, if that inspired him, Shatta agreed and gave credit to Blakk Rasta for his hard energy towards dancehall. “I had to go hard like Blakk Rasta…,” he said.

Within this year, the two biggest dancehall acts in Ghana, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy have both attributed their success to Blakk Rasta with even Stonebwoy calling him, his Godfather.
