An American writer and peace activist Jim Forest is dead. A lot of people are sending tributes posts on social media over the death of this great man. He was a peace activist, educator, an orthodox Christian leader, and an American writer. He died at age 80 on 13 January 2022 in Alkmaar, Netherlands.
Jim was born on November 2, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. He was very passionate about peacekeeping so he joined the US Navy. As he served in the military service he became a Catholic.
His Military service ended because he got the right refuse to perform their duties. After leaving the military he worked full time as a catholic worker and closer to the found Dorothy Day where he worked as an editor. He worked full-time as an editor and a journalist in the church. He was won the peacemaker award from Notre Dame University Institute for International Peace Studies. Jim became an international secretary of the Orthodox Peace Fellowship and an editor. Some books were also dedicated to his name.

The Cause of death of this amazing individual is still not out. His family is waiting for the autopsy report from the hospital to know the cause of his death.
