Former President John Mahama has called-out President Akufo Addo for failing to continue projects he started insisting is a lack of common sense.
Addressing the Akatsi South Constituency in the Volta Region, Mahama said,
“what we are going to do is to make Free SHS better when we come to the office. Akufo Addo’s government lacks common sense. NDC started building schools across the country, unlike NPP.
The NDC under the leadership of John Mahama promised to build 200-day schools across the country as part of efforts to implement what they termed “progressively free” senior High Education.
However, only about 40 out of 200 E-Blocks were completed for use as at the time the NDC was booted out of office.
This has stalled the progress of these E-Blocks since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took over. The NPP instituted the double-track system to address issues of accommodation in the senior high schools.
John Mahama, however, expressed displeasure at the double-track system insisting the government could have just completed his projects.
