“NPP and Prez Nana Akufo Addo should be smart enough to tell Parliament that because of COVID-19, the election should be rescheduled to next year. Let them take advantage of it”, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw said in an interview on Wontumi Radio.

According to the controversial lawyer, the ruling NPP is more prepared than any political party as Ghana goes to the polls December 7 despite concerns by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that there is no need for a new voters’ register.

“With COVID-19 and calls for new Voters’ register, NPP is prepared for the 2020 election than NDC”, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw observed.
