The opposition National Democratic Congress, flagbearer, Former President John Mahama, has suggested quashing nepotism and favouritism when he unseats the ruling government.

Mr. Mahama indicated that the way politics is being done in the country will change as everyone will be treated as a Ghanaian.

The NDC from the time NPP captured power has accused Akufo-Addo led government of appointing friends and family.

According to them the appointments have the “Akyeam Mafias” when their clan and tribes are the only people the president appointed to manage the country’s affairs.

In a tweet, the former president, John Mahama said as he plan to recapture power and if its successful, Ghana will have a new phase where everyone will be treated as Ghanaian without any favoritism.
