The Presidential Candidate of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Madam Akua Donkor has noted that if she wins the elections this year, the official language of Ghana will be changed from English to Twi.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with TV3 on Friday 16th October,2020, and monitored by TheBBCghana.com she stated that she is not disturbed and worried about her inability to speak english.
Adding that all judges including justices of the Supreme Court will use Twi in conducting their cases.
“Twi will become the official language of Ghana under my leadership”, Madam Akua Donkor stated
“Twi will be the official language in Ghana under my leadership. Judges, lawyers, and even Supreme Court judges will conduct their cases in Twi,” – she added.
