The Ridge Hospital has become a famous medical facility recognized for very shocking stories and it is becoming something of a pattern that is terrifying considering the fact that it is one of the biggest hospitals in the country.
A woman has disclosed, during an interview on Accra based Angel FM, that she delivered her baby through a caesarian section at the elegant but controversial hospital in 2015 when a doctor left a towel in her tummy.
She told Captain Smart that after the surgery, she had been vomiting repeatedly and it all looked very green as if she had eaten raw green grass.
She returned to the Ridge hospital not less than twice, but she was told they could not do anything about her situation because it had been nine months after the operation.
She then went to another hospital and doctors conducted another surgery only to realize that a huge towel used during her caesarean section at Ridge hospital had been left in her abdomen.
The woman added that, after her corrective surgery at a different hospital, the very doctor who conducted the caesarean section on her at the ridge hospital advised her to ignore the case because taking the matter up would cost her a lot of money.
