On a very sad note, a student of the Business Department at the KNUST Senior High School in Kumasi met his untimely death in the school premises yesterday following the sheer negligence of teachers and authorities who failed to attend to him.
While the demise student was panting helplessly at the mercy of an unknown illment, some teachers were caught in the camera chatting and concentrating on their mobile phone instead of the student who was passing away slowly.
Madam Felicia Asamoah Dankwaa, through a letter signed by the Head of Public Relations of GES Cassandra Twum Ampofo, has been asked to relinquish her position to the Ashanti Regional Director of Education with immediate effect.
According to the statement, an investigation will be conducted into what led into the sudden death of the final year student and anyone found culpable shall be prosecuted.
